Do not go gentle into that good night
Old age should burn and rave at close of day
Rage, rage against the dying of the light – Dylan Thomas
I find inspiration in these words by the great Dylan Thomas. Everytime I feel myself being dragged under by the pain of my disease, I find myself resistant to let it overshadow me. This blog will document how I fight this disease. There will be triumphs, and there will be failures. Hopefully, more triumphs than failures. All I know is that I will not go gentle, I will rage….
Right there beside you — fighting the good fight every day! Hoping for more pain free days! Best of luck with your blog!
Thank you Jane! I’ll write this blog for the both of us, k? Here’s to pain free days for all of us!
Beautiful quote. I can see where it would hold lots of meaning for you.
Here’s to supporting you in this fight!
Thanks, ‘chelle! You’ve always been such a great support system to me. I’m sorry I’ve been MIA, but you know my struggles. I hope I win this fight, and in the meantime, help others try as well.
Cross your fingers for me!!
I think writing will be a good cathartic outlet for you and it will allow me to get to know you in a new way. Thank you for opening up and sharing.
Thanks, Daniel. I hope so…my only worry is I’m not that great of a writer, so hopefully I don’t also make a fool of myself. 😉
Thank you for reading, too! I’m very thankful for the comment as well.
Great quote. So glad you are going to write about it. The outlet will be good for you.
So sorry you have to fight this disease my friend.
Thanks, Divs. Let’s see how this blog develops. My main goal is to help raise awareness, and hopefully help a soul or two along the way.
I’m sorry I have to fight this disease too, but make no mistake, I will fight it!
Thanks for being there, my friend.
You have such an inspiring attitude. I really mean that! I hope your journey brings comfort and continued happiness 🙂
